Site editor

Everything, in one place.

Every part of your website can be changed from the Shopify admin — no code, no developer. This is where each thing lives and exactly what to click.

You can't break anything. Nothing goes live until you press Save, and any change can be changed back.

Open a page

Sign in to your Shopify account first, then tap any of these to jump straight to the right screen.

How to edit each page

The detail for the things you'll change most. Each one tells you where it lives and exactly what to fill in.

Products

Change a product's words

In the left menu: Products, then click the piece.

  1. The Description box near the top is the main paragraph shoppers read.
  2. Scroll to the Metafields block — four labelled boxes: Composition, Details, Care and Size. These fill the three drop-downs and the size on the product page.
  3. Type straight into any box. What you write is what appears on the site.
  4. Press Save, top right.

Keep the drop-downs short — a line or two reads best. Size is just the ring letter (e.g. K); leave it blank for earrings and cuffs.

Products

Change or reorder photos

Same product page, the Media box at the top.

  1. Drag a photo in to add it, or drag the tiles to reorder.
  2. Order matters: photo 1 is the plain packshot shown first; photo 2 is the colour-background shot.
  3. The Home splash automatically uses that 2nd photo when a piece is featured — so keep the colourful one in position 2.
  4. Any size works — photos crop to fit on their own.
Products

Set which category a piece is in

Same product page, the Collections box on the right.

  1. Tick the category it belongs to — Rings, Earrings, Necklaces or Charms.
  2. That's what places it in the shop menu and filters. It's the only step.
  3. Press Save.

Ignore the Type field further up — it's just an internal label. The Collections box is what controls the menu.

Home page

Change the pieces on the splash

Open Home splash above → the Landing section → click a Piece.

  1. Under Featured product, pick the product to show. Its photo, name and link fill in automatically.
  2. Set the Badge (e.g. New In).
  3. Optionally add a Background image — the blurred landscape backdrop. Leave it blank and it uses the piece's own photo.
  4. Press Save.

There are up to 5 pieces in the splash. It always shows each product's 2nd (colour) photo — the one in position 2.

Archive

Add a piece to the Archive

Open Archive above → the Archive section.

  1. Click Add block → Archive piece in the left panel.
  2. Fill in the Image, Title, Year, Category and Note.
  3. Drag the block up or down to set its order.
  4. Press Save.

Ignore Image filename (legacy) — it's left over from the old site. Use the Image picker above it.

Commissions

Edit a commission type

Open Commissions above → the Commissions section → click a type: Bespoke, Engagement, Wedding or Remodelling.

  1. Set the Title and Background colour.
  2. Fill the Slots (1–5) — each takes either a video or an image. Leave the ones you don't need empty.
  3. Write the process in Steps (1–6), each a title and a short paragraph.
  4. Press Save.

Right now: Bespoke 1 video + 1 image, Engagement 1 video + 2 images, Wedding 1 video + 1 image, Remodelling 2 images. Fill a slot with whichever you have.

About page

Edit the About page

Open About above → the About section (settings in the left panel).

  1. Edit the big Statement line, then the About heading and About copy (your bio).
  2. Swap the Portrait image if you like.
  3. Update the Contact heading, Email, and Instagram label and link.
  4. Press Save.
Terms

Edit Terms & Conditions

Open Terms & Conditions above → the Information section.

  1. There are three policy blocks: Delivery, Care and Terms.
  2. Click one and edit its Heading and Body text.
  3. Use Add block → Policy section to add another, or drag to reorder.
  4. Press Save.
Enquiries

Edit the enquiry form

Open Enquiries above → the Contact section.

  1. Edit the Heading shown above the form.
  2. Change the Button label (e.g. Send).
  3. Set the Success message people see after sending.
  4. Press Save.

Enquiries themselves arrive by email — this just controls the words around the form.
